The main uses of lavender essential oil are that it relaxes the body and mind and helping a restful sleep, has regenerative properties and is used directly on the skin in irritations and stings. So it is used as an antiseptic, as an analgesic, and as a sedative.

Historical data

Lavender was used to flavor baths by the Romans and its name derives from the Latin word “lavare” which means “wash”. It is one of the most widely used essential oils and has many uses. It relaxes the body and mind and helps in a restful sleep, has regenerative properties in stings. Lavender has been used by the peoples of the Mediterranean for more than 2,500 years, while it seems to have spread throughout Europe through Greece around 600 BC.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF LEVANTA ESSENTIAL OIL

Headache and migraine: Make compresses by adding 4 drops of lavender essential oil to a bowl of water
Antiseptic: Alone or in combination with other oils (for acne & various fungi), lotions or creams and have antiseptic action. Its uses vary, from application to abrasions and cuts, to inflammatory conditions of the skin (it is one of the essential oils that can be applied to the skin with relative safety, however it needs attention)
Sleep-insomnia-sleep disorders: Drop 1-2 drops on the pillow and deeper sleep
Mosquito or bee stings: Apply directly to the skin and rub lightly to remove itching, irritation and swelling.
Anxiety, stress, insomnia: Add 5 drops of lavender essential oil to the ceramic essential oil dispenser.
Respiratory congestion: In a cold, pour 1-2 drops of lavender essential oil in a bowl of warm water and inhale by placing a towel on your head, to relieve congestion of the nasal system and the feeling of heaviness in the chest.
Relaxation-fatigue: For relaxation after a hard day: add 6-7 drops of lavender essential oil in the bathtub.
Stress and anxiety before exams: Inhale directly from the bottle.
